SMS Consent and Messaging Policy

What you agree to receive, how consent is collected, and how to stop or get help with text messages.
Last updated: July 15, 2026

Your choice comes first: Text messaging is optional. You choose whether to opt in, and you may stop messages at any time.

1. The SMS Program

The Leslie Richardson Agency may use SMS or MMS messaging to communicate with customers and prospective customers who have expressly opted in. Messages may include:

  • Responses to insurance questions and quote requests
  • Quote status and follow-up communications
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Requests for documents or missing information
  • Policy service and renewal communications
  • Billing-related reminders
  • Claims-related customer service
  • Other insurance service messages you request or authorize

2. How You Opt In

You may opt in through a clearly disclosed website form, a written form, a documented verbal request, or by initiating a text conversation and requesting continued SMS communication. Website consent boxes must be optional and unchecked by default.

Where a website form is used, the disclosure should appear directly beside the mobile consent checkbox and should link to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

3. Consent Is Not Required to Buy Insurance

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing insurance or receiving a quote. You may contact us by phone at 501-232-0835 or email at leslie@richardsonagents.com.

4. Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies based on your requests, policy activity, and the services you use. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.

5. How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You may receive one final confirmation message. After that, no further messages will be sent through that program unless you opt in again.

Other recognized opt-out words may include CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or REVOKE, depending on the messaging platform.

6. How to Get Help

Reply HELP, call 501-232-0835, or email leslie@richardsonagents.com.

7. Privacy

Mobile information and SMS consent records will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Limited sharing with vendors that support message delivery and customer service is permitted only as needed to provide those services.

Read our SMS Privacy Notice and Privacy Policy for more information.

8. Delivery and Carrier Responsibility

Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Supported Carriers and Devices

SMS availability may vary by carrier, mobile plan, device, and location. You are responsible for maintaining access to the mobile number you provide.

10. Changes to the Program

We may change or discontinue the messaging program as permitted by law. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
